I've finally had the first "NORM!" experience of my life. Let me preface this with the fact that I operate on one part brand/location loyalty and another part sheer habit. So when I started doing Friday Game Play at work and promised donuts every session, I started going to the
Winchell's Donuts down the street from my place. Today, about 9 months after my first visit, I walked into the Donuteria and was greeted with an "Hola"by the cashier who then turned over her shoulder and told a coworker in Spanish what I can only assume was my regular order. That's right, she recognized me by sight. My "regular" is 2 Winchell's Dozens consisting of 4 cake donuts with colored sprinkles and then the remainder are Dealer's Choices. From this point on, I hope never to have to order anything when I enter Winchell's. Finally, Los Angeles is the place I can call home!
