Corgi!

We got a new dog. A Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She's currently unnamed, but I don't think that will last for long...

Rockin' in the Free World

I love me some Guitar Hero and was very skeptical when I heard it would be ported to the DS. I mean, how would an awesome rythm based music game with a kick ass peripheral translate to a touchscreen handheld with 2 screens? Well, it's as though someone is doing their job and not just cashing in on the Guitar Hero name with this one. Check out the kick-ass GBA-slot fretboard peripheral for this. I can't wait to play some Guitar Hero on-the-go!

Hulk Bust?

Did you know there's an Incredible Hulk film coming out this summer? Yup. It stars Ed Norton. he also wrote the script. It comes out in 13 weeks, and there's been no news about it until now. Luckily, it has nothing to do with Ang Lee's steaming abomination from 2003. Luckily it looks like this one has Abomination, so Hulk can fight something other than Gamma-irradiated poodles... The trailer looks good, I'm just worried that this may be a train wreck since there's been little news up until this point...

Here's the poster:

Drivin' with the Devil

Here's an awesome mashup featuring The Beatles "Drive My Car" and the previously released vocal only track of David Lee Roth singing Van Halen's "Runnin' with the Devil"

Totally awesome!

Where Everybody Knows Your Name...

I've finally had the first "NORM!" experience of my life. Let me preface this with the fact that I operate on one part brand/location loyalty and another part sheer habit. So when I started doing Friday Game Play at work and promised donuts every session, I started going to the Winchell's Donuts down the street from my place. Today, about 9 months after my first visit, I walked into the Donuteria and was greeted with an "Hola"by the cashier who then turned over her shoulder and told a coworker in Spanish what I can only assume was my regular order. That's right, she recognized me by sight. My "regular" is 2 Winchell's Dozens consisting of 4 cake donuts with colored sprinkles and then the remainder are Dealer's Choices. From this point on, I hope never to have to order anything when I enter Winchell's. Finally, Los Angeles is the place I can call home!

Movies opening 3/07/08

10,000 B.C.
The Bank Job
College Road Trip
CJ7

So these are the movies opening this weekend. In my not-so-expert opinion, I'm going to say 10,000 B.C. will come out on top. I mean, how can a "Period Action" film not be the number one movie?

Personally, I want to see CJ7. I love me some Stephen Chow

Desperately Seeking Link

Awesome Craigslist Post.

I suppose if you know what you're looking for, it can't hurt to be forward about it...

This is what the internet was made for!

Andrew writes songs. He writes songs based on what users give him. You can pay for a song or just hope he reads your comment and turns it into a song. They are hit or miss, but the concept is pretty damn awesome. I'm a big fan of I'm a Sad Sad Toaster Made of Glass and I Am Bjork.

FIRST!

OK - my friend Marie convinced me to start a blog. So here goes... Hopefully I can find stuff to keep people interested enough in reading it!
